When asked about her rumored boyfriend Gomez and EDM, a source close to the singer told E! News, "Everything is going great with him. She is very happy and having fun."
The couple have been spending much time working on a song together, but fans began to wonder if something romantic was brewing between the duos when the couple began to enjoy each other's company outside the studio. Selena and Zedd began publishing lots of photos together (some of which included a little PDA) and even attended events full of stars, like the Golden Globe after party, from side to side.
"Selena's friends are a little cautious while remaining hopeful," the source says, adding that his friends wonder where this is going, "but ultimately, at this time is being happy Selena and not Justin Bieber, so it's a good thing.”
Zedd even ventured out to Atlanta for the weekend to join Gomez as he prepared to begin filming his upcoming movie The Fundamentals of Care.
Selena had her first day on set filming yesterday and continued today with her castmates Paul Rudd and Craig Roberts. "She started her day early, but was in good spirits. Selena was filming a scene today where she was thumbing a rest stop. Paul Rudd was inside the restaurant and went to talk to Selena's character, "an eyewitness tells E! News.
"At one point, Selena went together and interacted with fans. There are about 16 girls there, Selena was nice to everyone. She took pictures and said hello to them. She was very sweet."
